A visual art workshop
Zen is steeped in the arts. Art can be both an expression of Zen and a way into Zen.
In this workshop we will explore the work of Todd Hido as a modern example of using photography to create visual art. We will also explore working with koans visually, using fine art photography.
We will spend a few hours in discussion and visual presentations, then shoot for about two hours. After spending some time with post editing work we will meet for final a presentation of our work and group feedback.
No experience is required and the workshop is open to everyone. If you would like to attend the workshop send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to receive instructions for pre-course work and information.
Cost: No cost for LZC Members, for others a donation of $50 is suggested.
